John Olsen became the only person in history to walk unaided across Australia thrice. His story of surviving the wilderness, lighting strikes and dust storms, the outback, rouge animals, isolation and his own mental demons was one that became part of Australia folklore. This video captures John midway through a 5,500km walk diagonally across Australia to raise funds in support of those living with Leukodsystrophy. His only lifeline is a motorises trolley weighing 200kg, his diary, and his will to help those suffering with this severe degenerative, genetic neurological disease.
